Your Project

We are a small family business; all work will be carried out by us. We do not subcontract to any other roofers. We are fully insured and have specialist training and experience. All work will be project-managed by Terry Rooney, the proprietor. We pride ourselves on a personal and friendly service; we will start work on time every time to get the job done. If you have any questions or concerns during the project we will always be on hand to answer your concerns personally. Please read on for more useful information for each stage of your project.

Starting Your Project

Before work starts we will provide you with a written quotation once you are happy with your quote and payment terms we can start on your roof.

We can generally give a start date within a few weeks, once we have agreed on a time suitable to you, we will do our upmost to stick to it weather permitting! If bad weather delays work we will talk to you and agree revised dates as soon as possible.

During Your Project

Please be assured that once we start work on your roof we will be protected at all times. If we have stripped the roof covering but not finished the replacement we will put fully weather proof tarpaulins and other measures in place to prevent any leakage.

Small business and residential roofing is our main business so you can be assured that you are our number one priority, we will not be fitting you in around other projects.

Completing Your Project

When the job is finished we will take down the scaffolding, remove all refuse from the site and leave your property in a neat and tidy condition.

All of our workmanship is guaranteed, if you happen to experience any problems we will put them right at no cost to you. If you have any concerns at all about your new or repaired roof please call us immediately. We value our local reputation above all else and will deal with any problems straight away. If you choose synthetic slates or tiles, these carry a manufacturer’s guarantee.

Insurance

We would strongly advise you contact your house insurance provider before we start work. This is a routine phone call that most insurance companies will expect, some insurance companies will require you to inform them before any work is done.

We also have full public liability insurance for your protection. Copies of our policies are available for inspection on request.

Planning and Other Consents

If you happen to live in a listed building or a conservation area, it is likely you will need to apply for planning permission. We will advise you if we think that this might apply. If in doubt you can call your local authority planning department for further advice.
